Overview
Translate and learn on hover: instant single-word translation, 32 languages, audio playback and review flashcards.
WebHoverTranslate instantly translates the word you hover over, without leaving your page. Move your cursor over a word and its translation appears right away. Listen to its pronunciation with one click, and save it to your flashcards to review later. Perfect for learning a language while reading the web naturally. FEATURES - Instant translation when you hover over a word - More than 30 supported languages - Audio playback of the translation - Flashcards to memorize and review your vocabulary - History of your recent translations - Customizable keyboard shortcuts PRIVACY WebHoverTranslate uses Chrome's built-in translation (on-device AI). Translations happen directly on your device: no text is sent to any external server. Your history and flashcards stay stored locally in your browser. GETTING STARTED 1. Double-click a word once to activate hover translation. 2. Then hover over any word to see its translation. 3. Choose your source and target languages in the extension popup. Note: translation relies on Chrome's built-in language models (Chrome 138+ on desktop). Some languages may require a model download on first use, or may be unavailable depending on your browser version.
