Overview

Save pages and selected text with tags and notes.

WebClip is a local-first Chrome extension for saving pages and selected text with lightweight organization tools. You can save the current page, save selected text, add tags, notes, and one collection per item, then find everything later from a full library. WebClip also includes popup save/update flow, right-click quick capture, recent items, search, filters, sorting, pin, archive, bulk actions, undo, and JSON backup import/export. WebClip stores data locally in chrome.storage.local. It does not include cloud sync, billing, backend services, or AI features in this beta build. Restricted pages such as chrome:// pages are not supported save targets. Need cloud sync and advanced search? WebClip Pro is in progress.
