It helps developers, designers, QA testers, agencies, freelancers, and website owners review webpages for SEO, accessibility, links, performance, usability, social metadata, and general best practices. Optional platform presets can add extra checks without replacing the generic inspection rules. HOW TO USE 1. Open the webpage you want to inspect. 2. Click the WebCheckr icon in the Chrome toolbar. 3. Click “Run QA”. 4. Review the score, warnings, failed checks, and recommendations. 5. Expand an issue to view affected elements. 6. Use the Highlight option to locate an element on the webpage. 7. Copy the QA report when you need to share the results. PRIVACY WebCheckr performs inspections locally in your browser after you choose to run a QA check. WebCheckr: • Does not require an account • Does not include analytics • Does not sell browsing information • Does not transmit webpage content to external servers • Does not use external AI services • Does not permanently monitor your browsing activity MINIMAL PERMISSIONS WebCheckr uses only the activeTab and scripting permissions. These permissions are used after you request an inspection, allowing WebCheckr to analyze and highlight elements on the active webpage. SAFE AND INFORMATIONAL WebCheckr is not a vulnerability scanner. It does not perform exploitation, brute-force testing, login testing, password testing, destructive security testing, or unauthorized form submissions.
