Webcat is built to never get in your way. The cat lives in a transparent overlay that ignores every click, scroll, drag, and text selection; the page underneath behaves exactly as if the extension weren't there. It never replaces your real cursor, and it never reads, changes, or sends anything from the pages you browse. [ Main features ] - Idle-triggered animation: the cat emerges only after the mouse has been still for your chosen idle time, then plays a full emerge → walk → jump → grab → dangle → retreat sequence. - Two ways to let go: the cat releases when you move the cursor away from the spot, or after a short timeout — whichever comes first. - 8 colors: 7 hand-made cat palettes (Cheese, Tuxedo, Black, Gray, White, Brown, Cream) plus a Custom color — pick any hex and the cat is recolored while keeping its shading. - 4 spawn corners: choose which corner the cat appears from. - Adjustable idle time: from 4 seconds up to 5 minutes, with a stepped slider. - Live preview: the popup shows the exact cat and color you'll see on the page, running the same animation engine. - Zero interference: the overlay is pointer-events:none and sits in a closed Shadow DOM, so it never breaks the sites you use. - No account, no network, no data collection: everything runs locally in your browser.
