Save any webpage as a clean PDF — with text you can actually select. Web2PDF prints through Chrome's own engine, so what you get is a genuine PDF: selectable, searchable text, working links, and sharp vector output at any zoom. Not a screenshot dressed up as a document. Everything happens on your device. Web2PDF has no server, makes no network requests of its own, and never uploads the pages you read or the PDFs you create. ━━━ CLEAN THE PAGE BEFORE YOU SAVE ━━━ Web pages are full of things nobody wants in a PDF. Web2PDF takes them out: • Ads, cookie banners, sticky headers and floating chat bubbles • Navigation bars and footers • Reader mode — keep the article, drop the rest • Select elements to remove — hover to highlight, click to delete, Escape to stop Nothing is deleted from the live page. Every change is reverted the moment the export finishes, right down to your scroll position. ━━━ CONTROL THE OUTPUT ━━━ • Paper size: A4, A3, Letter, Legal, or a custom size in millimetres • Portrait or landscape • Margins: none, narrow, normal, or set each edge yourself • Scale from 50% to 200% • Background graphics on or off • Headers and footers: page title, URL, date, page numbers, your own text • Page ranges, such as 1-5, 8, 11-13 ━━━ LONG PAGES, HANDLED ━━━ Lazy-loaded images are the usual reason a saved page comes out half empty. Switch on "Load lazy content" and Web2PDF scrolls the page first, waits for the images and fonts to settle, and only then prints — so the PDF matches what you actually saw. ━━━ NAME FILES YOUR WAY ━━━ Build a filename template from {title}, {domain}, {date} and {time}. You get "Quarterly report_2026-09-21.pdf" instead of "download (3).pdf". ━━━ ABOUT THE PERMISSION WARNING ━━━ Chrome will tell you Web2PDF can "read and change all your data on all websites", and it shows a banner on the tab while a PDF is being made. That deserves a straight explanation. Producing a real PDF of a live page requires Chrome's DevTools printing command, and that command requires the "debugger" permission. No smaller permission can do it: window.print() cannot save a file without you clicking through the system dialog, and screenshot-based converters produce images in which the text is dead — not selectable, not searchable, not copyable.
