Core Functionality & Use Case The extension allows users to view the Top 100 global websites database and check if the current active tab's website belongs to the Top 100, displaying its ranking details directly in the popup UI. ### 2. Permissions Justification - `activeTab` (or your specific host permission): This is used strictly to detect the current URL of the active tab so we can query our local/API database and display the ranking status of the site the user is currently browsing. - `storage`: Used to cache the Top 100 list locally to minimize unnecessary network requests, ensure fast loading times, and provide offline capability. ### 3. Data Privacy & Compliance - The ranking data is statically bundled / fetched from our public database [Optional: insert your data source, e.g., Alexa/Similarweb/Open-source datasets]. - We DO NOT collect, track, or store any personal user browsing history, cookies, or sensitive data.
