Overview

Pick elements on any web page and get a REST API that returns them as JSON — even when your browser is closed.

https://www.webtoapi.net Turn any web page into a JSON API — without writing a scraper. Open a page, start the picker, and click the values you care about. Each one becomes a named field. You get a URL you can call from a cron job, a spreadsheet, or your own code, and it returns fresh JSON every time. The page is read on our servers, not in your browser. Your endpoint keeps working after you close the tab, shut the laptop, or go on holiday. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick the values. Start the picker and click the elements you want. Name each one — that name becomes the JSON key. 2. We verify them. We fetch the page from our servers and compare what we read against what you saw. If the page needs JavaScript, we switch to a headless browser automatically. 3. Call your endpoint. You get a URL straight away. Call it from anywhere. TABLES Tables get their own two-step flow. First you click the column that identifies the rows — the coin name, the product code, whatever names the row. Then you pick as many values as you like. Because the row is found by its identifier rather than its position, the value stays correct when the table re-sorts, when rows are added above, or when the row you picked moves to a different page position. Where the table has a link per row, that link is used as the identifier, so "Bitcoin" is never confused with "Bitcoin Cash". WHAT ELSE - Lists: click one item and capture every matching sibling as a JSON array. - Numbers, text, HTML and attributes (href, src) are recognised automatically. - Pages that block servers fall back to reading through your browser. - A dashboard at webtoapi.net shows every API, its live JSON, and how long it has left. - Five languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Turkish. ACCESS New APIs work without a key, so you can click and test straight away. You can require an API key per API from the dashboard whenever you want. PRICING Free: unlimited APIs, each live for 7 days, 1,000 requests a day. Pro ($19.95/month): APIs never expire, 25,000 requests a day. Server-side scraping, headless rendering and the dashboard are in both plans. The rate limits exist to stop abuse — the real difference is how long an API stays alive. PRIVACY The extension only reads pages you explicitly grant it access to. It does not track your browsing history and sends nothing except the values matching the selectors you chose. No advertising or analytics trackers. Privacy policy: https://webtoapi.net/en/privacy Terms: https://webtoapi.net/en/terms
