Hey there, awesome plugin! Would it possible to save a snapshot of the edited webpage as an HTML file for future use? I need it for some website mockups and re editing the changes i made from scratch is a bit time consuming. Hope you can help out :) Thanks!

Hi JV Ambata, Thanks for the kind words about the Web Editor, I'm glad you're finding it awesome! Saving snapshots of edited webpages as HTML files for future use is a fantastic idea that I completely understand. Currently, Web Editor allows saving style modifications you make through the CSS tab, but saving edited HTML content isn't yet supported. However, I definitely hear your pain point about recreating edits from scratch being time-consuming, and I want to assure you that adding text saving functionality is high on our priority list for future updates. In the meantime, there are a couple of workarounds you might find helpful: 1. Screenshots: Although not ideal, you can capture screenshots of the modified webpage with the desired text and styles. This won't be editable later, but it will serve as a visual reference for your mockups. 2. External Text Editor: This option requires a bit more technical knowledge, but it allows you to save your edited HTML content. Here's how it works: - Use Web Editor to inspect the element containing the text you want to edit. - Copy the HTML code for that element. - Paste the code into an external text editor like Notepad++ or Sublime Text. - Make your edits in the text editor. - Copy the updated HTML code back into the Web Editor and apply it to the page. 3. Browser Extensions: While not part of Web Editor itself, some browser extensions can help you save edited webpages as HTML files. Check out options like "SingleFile" or "Webpage to Single File" for Chrome, or "FireShot" for Firefox. While I understand these aren't perfect solutions, I hope they provide some temporary relief until we implement full-fledged text saving in Web Editor. I am actively working on it, and your feedback is crucial in helping me prioritize features that benefit users like you. If you have any further ideas or suggestions, please don't hesitate to share them! We're always open to feedback and excited to improve the plugin for everyone. Thanks again for reaching out, and happy designing!

This extension doesn't save when you delete an element on a page.

Hi That Guy, I appreciate you reaching out with your concern. I want to clarify that the Web Editor is designed primarily for saving and applying CSS changes rather than deleting elements on a page. If you wish to hide a specific element, you can achieve this by adding a CSS rule under the CSS tab. For example, if you want to hide an element with the class "addBox," you can use the following CSS rule: ``` .addBox { display: none; } ``` This rule instructs the browser not to display the element with the "addBox" class. Feel free to customize the CSS rules based on your specific requirements. And please don't forget to enable `Keep Change` option under CSS tab I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know.

Can you add an action button to select page elements? when I want to view the button, the click will trigger the click event.

Hi Mizro_, Thank you for your suggestion. I'd like to clarify that in the Web Editor, element selection is already enabled by default. When you open the Web Editor, you can start selecting elements on the page without the need for an additional action button. If you have any specific details or additional requirements related to element selection or the click event you mentioned, please provide more information so that I can better understand your needs and assist you accordingly. Feel free to reach out with any further details or questions you may have.
