WBRB Volume improves the audio experience of compatible multi-camera live streams by giving you more control over what you hear. ------------------------------------------- Known Issues * **Background-tab WBRB:** When the feed is open in a background tab, WBRB may occasionally begin or end without the volume changing until the feed tab is viewed again. * **macOS player controls:** On some Macs, the website’s native player controls may become visible but not respond correctly after WBRB Protection has been used. WBRB’s own fullscreen control and assigned fullscreen shortcut can still be used. * **Native menus after Protection:** Occasionally, a website menu or control may require another click immediately after releasing WBRB Protection. * **Same-room camera audio:** When multiple cameras are showing the same room, small timing differences between the feeds can sometimes cause brief echoing or noticeable audio changes while WBRB determines whether the feeds contain duplicate audio. Key features • WBRB detection — Automatically reduces supported recurring break audio while preserving an active live channel when possible. • Left / Center / Right listening — Quickly focus on either audio feed or combine both in Center mode. • Speech Leveling — Raises quieter conversations while avoiding unnecessary boosting of already-loud audio. • Adjustable Center separation — Control how narrow or wide the two feeds sound while maintaining balanced loudness. • Quiet-channel enhancement — Helps when one active feed is noticeably quieter than the other. • Feed fader — Bias the Center mix toward Left or Right without changing the selected listening mode. • Separate Left/Right captions — Uses Chrome’s on-device speech recognition when available. • WBRB and Pets detection — Distinguishes supported break states and keeps live audio available when possible. • Keyboard shortcuts — Quickly control channel selection, volume, fader, captions, fullscreen, and Protection Mode. WBRB Volume processes the selected stream locally in Chrome. Stream audio, detector imagery, captions, and browsing activity are not sent to the WBRB developer, analytics services, advertisers, or data brokers. WBRB Volume does not replace the source website or video player. The original player and website remain available, including their normal playback, navigation, account, menu, fullscreen, and other controls. The extension adds optional local audio processing and controls around the existing player and can be stopped by the user at any time. No source video, music, screenshots, or captured imagery is included with or distributed by WBRB Volume. Stream audio and visual frames are processed transiently on the user's device only as needed to provide the extension's features and are not retained as a media library or sent to the developer. WBRB Volume is an independent utility. It is not produced, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by any streaming service, broadcaster, television program, network, content owner, or platform. All trademarks, service marks, program names, and source content remain the property of their respective owners. Processing does not begin automatically on a fresh installation. You choose when WBRB Volume starts processing a tab. Known limitation: When multiple cameras cover the same room, timing differences between the source feeds may occasionally cause echo or doubled conversation. WBRB Volume includes conservative duplicate-audio protection, but intentionally avoids aggressively collapsing feeds that may contain different conversations.
