Waypoint — Acid Noir
Overview
Chrome browser theme matched to Waypoint's Acid Noir palette with a restrained, overlay-dominant frame treatment.
Waypoint — Acid Noir gives Chrome a much harsher, darker character, built around near-black surfaces, dirty charcoal tones, and a sharp acid-green accent. The browser frame stays almost completely black, while the green highlights add contrast without turning the interface into a bright neon theme. The new-tab artwork takes place inside a decaying underground industrial corridor. Heavy metal doors line the walls, exposed cables and pipes run across the ceiling, and the wet floor reflects the sparse utility lights. One reinforced doorway has been left open, flooding the corridor with an unnatural green glow as luminous liquid spills across the floor. Farther down the passage, a large shadowy figure stands partially hidden in the mist, giving the scene a tense, abandoned-facility atmosphere. Acid Noir is made for Waypoint, a Chrome productivity extension designed to make busy browsing easier. Waypoint can search across your open tabs instantly, save entire browsing setups as workspaces, help organise work using tab tasks, and use AI to summarise or understand the page you are currently viewing. A dark corridor, a toxic green spill, and something waiting at the other end.
