Waypoint — Paper Light is the bright counterpart to Waypoint’s darker themes. Chrome is styled with paper-white, cool grey and soft slate tones, using dark navy text for contrast and a restrained blue accent for links and controls. The new-tab artwork features a large white origami-like bird or phoenix standing on a snow-covered mountain ridge, with its layered wings rising dramatically into the pale sky. Snowy peaks and mist fade into the distance, while soft warm sunlight adds subtle cream and gold highlights to an otherwise white, grey, and paper-toned landscape. The combination of folded-paper forms, snow, and diffused light gives the scene the clean, airy character behind Paper Light. Paper Light is the calm surface; Waypoint provides the tools underneath.
