Wayback Machine Extension No Longer Automatically Saving Links

Ever since things came back up after the hacking incident, I’ve noticed that the Wayback Machine extension isn’t automatically saving links from a certain .gov website. It used to do this without any issues, but now I have to manually go in & click "Save Now" for it to archive the pages.

Does anyone know what could be causing this or if there's a way to fix it? I’m not sure if I need to adjust settings, contact someone, or if this is just an issue with the extension itself. Any advice would be helpful!

Manifest V3

Will you be developing a manifest v3 version of this extension? I use Wayback Version a lot, but I understand from various articles that Manifest V2 extensions will cease to work as early as June 2024.

Last week my browser became laggy due to this extension

I've noticed that my MS Edge animations and text typing input lag increased a lot on the last week. I've checked browser's task manager and saw that background.js of this extension is using 50% of my CPU. When I disabled this extension browser lags disappeared.

"Save Page Now" not working

The extension has stopped saving webpages when I click "Save Page Now". This started occurring in the past 24 hours. Previously, there had been no issue.

Error file size limit 2GB

Why is there an 2GB files size limit error, when on the website it clearly says this.. ?

Is there a limit to the number of files or the size of the file that I can upload?
Currently, there is no limit on the size of files nor the number of files. However, from a systems perspective, we do not recommend files larger than 50 GBs to be uploaded or more than 1000 files, per single page.

Outlinks button 90% sure does not work.

Great extension just one minor issue thing. About 90% the outlinks checkmark button does not work. Unless i'm mistaken that if checked its supposed to also archive the outlinks of the page like when if saving directly on the wayback website.

I have never seen the outlinks saved either while auto archiving or the manual archive from the button from the extension.

Its a minor thing its just odd I have never seen it work despite the checkmark for it. Not sure if its a bug from the button or some issue when trying to archive.

Choose to exclude a page/site

I have this extension installed but want to exclude it trying to archive my blog admin pages - at the moment I get a 404 in the logs from wwwb-spn05.us.archive.org when I log into the blog to create a new post or edit an existing one.

It would be great to have a feature where you could, for example, say exclude anything that started with www.domain.co.uk/directory... (I would want to block www.domain.co.uk/directory/wp-admin/ for example)

Auto Save Page

I would like to use the Auto Save function, for something like every 30 days or so. But it appears that when enabled it applies to all web sites I visit. I get concerned when the web page in question is my personal email. I realize the Wayback Machine does not have the ability to go into password protected sites but I really would prefer to only auto update pages on a site-by-site basis. And I don't mind a few cookies being stored to do this.

"Wayback Machine" disappeared from the right-click menu of Google Chrome on Windows 11

After switching to Windows 11, the Google Chrome extension "Wayback Machine" disappeared from the right-click menu, which is very inconvenient. Deleting, rebooting, and re-adding did not fix the problem, nor did I find a solution on the web.
