Sometimes it fails to save without providing any reason, but it's good to have access to the site history at least. Maybe I just need to sign in first?

When using the extension and trying to archive, you must be signed in, or you will get an error. Otherwise, go to website and archive manually. You may need to temporarily turn off any Ad Blockers, refresh the page, and also the page you want to save after logging in, and then attempt again. Great, easy and useful!

I really liked this extension but I still get errors when trying to archive. Are the servers up yet for this extension? I had to go to the archive site and save manually :(

Question? First off, I just want to say how much I love the Wayback Machine. It's an incredibly useful tool, and I’m grateful for all the effort you put into making it great. I still rate it 5 stars without hesitation! I have a small issue, though. On certain domains, some pages aren't fully rendering and instead show example text like the one below. Interestingly, the same site used to render correctly in the past. "family:"Verdana", sans-serif;font-style:normal;font-weight:700;color:#000... Show more

The extension seems like its working but auto-save and manually saving a page results in "Save Failed" error, making me go to the website directly to save a page.

I love the idea, but every time I attempt to save a page, it tells me "Save Failed," and when I hover over it, it says that I need to be "logged in to use Save Page Now," despite the fact that I am logged in. Are you able to fix this?

As of today 10-NOV-2024, I am unable to archive any page when logged in on this Chrome extension, it is asking me to log in even when I AM ALREADY LOGGED IN. If I log out I am able to archive by clicking on the Save Page Now button, but I will miss out on the outlink and screenshot archiving feature because those need me to be logged in.

I can’t say enough good things about the Wayback Machine! It’s like a time machine for the internet. I love being able to check out old versions of my favorite websites or see how things looked years ago. It's super easy to use, and it’s helped me out so many times, whether for research or just out of curiosity. Huge shoutout to the Internet Archive for all the hard work they put into preserving our digital history. If you haven’t tried it yet, definitely give it a go—you won’t regret it!

Quick question: I have been using the service to read books, but I noticed that I am unable to access any books today. Is the the book collection website working properly? Thanks! Best, Connie
Unfortunately most services on the Archive are still offline due to the recent attack on our servers. We're working to get them back up!
