Overview
Lets waxid.app read a Discogs sales-history page in your own signed-in session, so you don't have to copy and paste it.
waxid identifies the exact pressing of a record from photos, and tells you what that pressing is actually worth. Working out the "worth" part needs real sold prices, and Discogs only shows those to a signed-in account. This extension is the bridge. When waxid.app needs the sales history for a record you are scanning, you press one button and the extension reads that single Discogs sales-history page in your own signed-in session and hands the text back to waxid. That is the whole extension. It replaces opening a tab, selecting the table, copying it and pasting it back. What it does NOT do: • It does not run on any site except waxid.app and the one Discogs sales-history page you asked for. • It cannot see your Discogs collection, orders, messages or account details. • It does not record which sites you visit, and stores nothing on your machine. • Permission for Discogs is OPTIONAL and granted by you at the moment it is first needed — it is not requested when you install. The page text is sent to waxid.app over HTTPS purely to work out what the record sells for, and is deleted from the server after six hours. Nothing is sold or shared. You need a waxid.app account to use this. The extension does nothing on its own, and copying and pasting by hand still works if you would rather not install anything.
