Our backend processes the source media to generate the translated audio and subtitles, and the extension plays that separate AI-generated track over the original page video, in sync. PRIVACY AND PLATFORM ACCESS WaveShift signs you in with a WaveShift-issued extension access token. The Chrome Web Store build does not request the cookies permission and never reads or transmits your YouTube, Bilibili, or WaveShift cookies. Bilibili blocks anonymous server-side imports for some videos.
