Overview

Adds a power & training-zone profile chart to the top of the Garmin Connect workout builder.

WattLine draws a visual profile of your workout right at the top of the Garmin Connect workout builder — so you can see the shape of the whole session while you build it, instead of scrolling a long list of step cards to picture the ride. WHAT YOU GET • A clean bar chart: each step's width = its duration, height = its target power. • Bars colored by training zone (Z1–Z7) so hard and easy blocks pop instantly. • A time axis with H:MM:SS ticks and a watt scale down the side. • Hover any bar for the exact time, zone and watt range. • It updates live as you add, edit, reorder or delete steps — no refresh needed. WORKS WITH YOUR WHOLE LIBRARY • Power workouts → colored zone bars. • Interval sessions with repeats (like 8×30/30) → the repeat is expanded and drawn as alternating work / recovery blocks. • Steps that target something other than power — speed, cadence, heart-rate zone, or no target at all — appear as a neutral hatched block, so nothing is hidden. PRIVATE BY DESIGN WattLine reads only the workout already shown on the page and draws the chart locally in your browser. No account, no tracking, no analytics, and it makes no network requests. It runs only on Garmin Connect workout pages. FREE Built by an independent developer. If it saves you time, there's a "buy me a coffee" link under the chart — entirely optional. WHAT'S NEW • 1.1.0 — Zoom in on the details: drag across the chart to select a time range and WattLine zooms in horizontally, with a mini overview bar below for panning and resizing the viewport. Double-click or hit "Reset zoom" to go back. Also fixed repeat groups (e.g. 8×30/30) not rendering correctly on saved workout pages — they now expand properly on the read‑only view, just like in the editor. • 1.0.1 — The chart now appears on saved (read‑only) workout pages too, not just the builder. Navigating between workouts in Garmin Connect no longer needs a refresh — WattLine follows you as you browse your library. Fixed a case on the view page where only the first step was drawn, and another where it reported "No power steps". Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Garmin.
