Watch YouTube, Twitch, Vimeo and Netflix in sync with friends. Each plays on their own account; only play/pause/seek is shared.

Watch videos together with friends, perfectly in sync, each of you on your own computer and your own account. WatchSync never streams video between people. Everyone plays the video normally on the site; WatchSync only shares tiny "play / pause / seek" messages so every player stays at the same moment. HOW IT WORKS • Pick a username. No sign-up, no password, no email. • Open a video and click "Start a room on this tab". • Invite a friend from your friends list. They get a notification and join with one click. Or share the 6-letter room code. • Play, pause, seek or change speed: everyone follows. BUILT FOR TIGHT SYNC • Clock sync: every computer measures its clock against the server, so "play" means "play at the same moment" everywhere, not "play when the message arrives". • Drift correction: every second, each player checks where it should be. Small gaps are closed by playing a few percent faster or slower; big gaps by seeking. • Buffering awareness: if someone's video stalls or shows an ad, the room pauses and everyone restarts together. FRIENDS • Add friends by username and see who's online. • Only friends who have added you back can send you invites, so no spam. SUPPORTED SITES YouTube, Twitch (past broadcasts and clips), Vimeo and Netflix. Everyone needs their own access to the video (for example their own Netflix account). PRIVACY • Your username and friends list are stored only in your browser. • The relay server keeps information in memory only while you're connected, stores nothing on disk, and keeps no logs. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
