Preis, Verfügbarkeit oder Button beobachten und erfahren, wenn sich wirklich etwas ändert. Alles bleibt im Browser.
Point at one thing on a page and Watchpoint tells you when it changes. Not when the page changes — when the thing you chose does. WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT Most page monitors compare the whole page and tell you every time a banner rotates or a view counter ticks. After the third false alarm you stop reading the notifications, and the real one arrives into a channel you have learned to ignore. Watchpoint asks a question instead of taking a diff: - when this price drops below the number I set - when this button stops saying "Out of stock" - when this list gets a new row - when this button becomes clickable And it waits. Nothing is reported until the same change has been seen twice running, because pages flicker: a cache miss serves a stale value, a deploy is half rolled out, an A/B test shows a different string. One reading is a rumour. IT TELLS YOU WHAT CHANGED Not "something changed". The notification carries the old value and the new one, and the history keeps both so you can see what a price did over three weeks. IT ADMITS WHEN IT LOSES TRACK Sites get redesigned. Class names are regenerated on every deploy. When the watched element cannot be found with confidence, Watchpoint says so instead of announcing a change it cannot stand behind — and when several elements match equally well, it refuses to guess between them rather than quietly following the wrong one. IT WORKS ON PAGES YOU ARE SIGNED IN TO Checks run in your browser, using your session. That means the watches worth having actually work: an application status, an appointment page, an order that only exists behind a login. Nothing is uploaded, no page is sent to a server, and there is no cloud service holding your cookies. PERMISSIONS Watchpoint asks for one site at a time, when you add a watch there, and hands the permission back when the last watch on that site is removed. Installing it shows no warning about reading your data on all websites, because it does not ask for that. FREE - 5 watches - a check every 6 hours - 7 days of history PRO - USD 29 once, no subscription - 50 watches - checks every 15 minutes - a year of history - quiet hours and repeat suppression WHAT IT WILL NOT DO It does not bypass CAPTCHAs or bot protection. It does not send your cookies anywhere. It does not offer unlimited watches, because checking costs something and a promise that ignores that is a promise about to be broken.
