WatchCat tracks screen time and sets limits. Free mode stays local; paid account sync is optional and consent-based.

WatchCat is a screen-time tracker and gentle blocker for YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), and Netflix. It helps you see where your time goes and keep it within daily limits. What it does: • Tracks watch time per site and content type — Shorts, regular videos, feeds, and series. • Daily limits in minutes for each type. Reach the limit, and a calm block overlay appears on the page. • Controlled unlocking: soft hold-to-unlock, a time lock, or a daily unlock limit — your choice. • A stats widget right on the page and a detailed popup: today, rolling 24-hour and 7-day history, loaded as you scroll. • Free tracking, limits, and history stay in your browser. • Optional account sign-in, with consent-based cross-device history and settings sync for eligible Pro and Max plans. Privacy: Free makes no account-sync requests. Pro and Max history and a bounded settings profile are sent only after an informed affirmative choice. URLs, PIN material, temporary unlocks and counters, and current enforcement state are never synced. No analytics.
