You pick the videos. They choose what to watch. Watch Cub gives each child a watchlist filled with the videos, shows and movies you approve. The companion is the small Chrome shortcut that connects this computer to your family's shelves. Manage your family, picks, schedules and site settings on the Watch Cub website—not in a complicated extension popup. Getting started: 1. Install and pin Watch Cub Companion in Chrome. The welcome page explains the next steps and recognizes an installed companion—no second download needed. 2. Open your family and sign into your existing Watch Cub account. Unlock Parent with your PIN to manage the family. 3. Open Settings & help to choose supported streaming sites on the website. Chrome asks permission for the sites you select; confirm the change with Parent in Watch Cub. 4. Choose a child's profile and start an approved pick from their shelf. During viewing: • One clear popup action: Open my family, or Back to my shelf during a timed external launch. • Selected sites start from Watch Cub while the child profile is active. Other websites remain available. • Supported external picks open in a dedicated timed window. Return to the shelf yourself, or let the allowed viewing deadline close the managed window. • Choose Parent and enter your PIN to manage picks and browse selected sites. Switch back to a child to relock parent access. One family account. A profile for everyone. No separate child accounts, and no sharing your streaming passwords with Watch Cub. An existing Watch Cub family account is required. New-family registration is not available yet. Streaming services may require their own subscriptions. A few practical limits: external streaming remains launch-only. The companion helps with starting points and timed windows; it does not filter everything inside a streaming service or detect when an episode ends. It is not a device-wide blocker.
