Wasper turns the audio from a Chrome tab into a transcript in the Wasper app on your Mac. Record a meeting, a lesson, or a video playing in the current tab. Add your microphone when you need both sides of a conversation. On supported YouTube pages, a Transcribe button appears beside the video. Click it to transcribe the video, then read or summarize it in Wasper. No copying links. When transcription is done, it is saved in Wasper History. You can copy it, review it later, or summarize it with an AI provider you use. Wasper supports API keys and compatible subscriptions already signed in on your Mac. The Wasper desktop app must be installed and running. Wasper transcribes audio locally on your Mac by default.
