All data stays local; nothing is sent anywhere except the LLM provider you choose. 🎯 We know a browser copilot needs to be fast to be truly useful; "warpsurfing" is the goal and this extension is an early step but we're not there yet. ✨ What Warpsurf can do 💬 Chat — Ask questions, draft content, and have contextual follow-up conversations in the always-available side panel. 🔍 Search — Route queries to search-enabled models for fresh, web-backed answers. 🧭 Auto mode — Automatically picks the best workflow (chat, search, or agent) for each request. 🕹️ Agent — A single agent opens pages, clicks, fills forms, and extracts data in its own labelled tab group. 👥 Multi-Agent (experimental) — A planner and refiner decompose tasks into subtasks; multiple workers then execute them in parallel, each in its own browser context. 🛠️ Conversational settings — Change models, adjust temperature, toggle vision, add tabs to context, and more — just ask in the chat. Auto mode detects configuration requests automatically. 📋 Features 🎛️ Agent Manager — A full-page dashboard to monitor active and past workflows with live tab previews, status badges, cost metrics, and quick actions. 🖼️ Live previews — Watch what agents are doing inside the side panel without switching tabs. Pause an agent and take manual control at any time. 📑 Tab context — Select specific tabs as context, or turn on auto-tab-context to include everything in the current window. 📊 Cost & stats — Per-message and per-session token, latency, and cost totals. Task estimation previews approximate time and cost before you start. 📜 Chat history — Reopen, rename, delete, export, and bookmark prompts for reuse. 🌍 Regional preferences — Set a preferred locale so agents favour local versions of websites (e.g. amazon.de instead of amazon.com). Supports 20+ regions. 🧱 Web access control — Domain allow/deny lists act as a firewall for agent navigation. Deny list always takes priority. 🎤 Voice input — Dictate prompts via speech-to-text transcription. 🛑 Emergency stop — Instantly halt all agent activity across every session. 🧩 Model agnostic — Connect OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google Gemini, Grok (xAI), OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint including self-hosted and local models. 🎨 Themes — Auto, light, and dark modes that follow your system preference or manual choice. ⌨️ Shortcuts — Right-click any page to "Explain this" or "Summarize this page". Use Ctrl/Cmd+K inside the panel to open the command palette. Type / in the chat to switch modes. 📡 Pricing & model data If enabled, Warpsurf fetches up-to-date model listings and pricing from the OpenRouter and Helicone APIs. You can opt for cached data instead — no external requests. 🧭 Quick start 1️⃣ Install Warpsurf and pin it from the Chrome extensions menu. 2️⃣ Open the side panel and add at least one LLM API key in Settings → API Keys. 3️⃣ Start with Chat or Search, then try an Agent or Multi-Agent run for tasks like multi-site research, comparison tables, or collecting information across several sites. Warpsurf aims to make the browser a more accessible "door to the Internet" for complex tasks. It's powerful and experimental—please use it thoughtfully, keep an eye on your agents, and help improve it by sharing issues, ideas, and contributions.
