Wappalyzer - Technology profiler

When I started using this extension it was really amazing. The results were truly accurate. But now it is just confused. It shows any WordPress website is probably built on Shopify by mentioning 50% sure on every WordPress website I am testing it. This is really disappointing when a good plugin stops working as good as before and now I have to find other alternatives which give accurate results.

I found it too intrusive unfortunately. I was getting to the point of disabling every time and re-enabling only when needed. Getting rid of it now since it still notified me of latest upgrade EVEN AFTER disabling this in the configuration.

One star for opening 50 tabs while I was AFK, trying to force me to upgrade to Plus for $9/month. I did not agree to such behavior. Uninstalled from the browser.

Seems the good days are over with this extension. Doesn't work anymore, and only 50 lookups per month in the free edition? And the cheapest option is 250 USD per month? Well, that's a no no for me. Pitty, I really liked this product through the years I used it.

As others have mentioned, the tool is useless. All the websites I tried resulted in 'no tools' used, which is patently rubbish.

once upon a time, it was one click, fast, worked for all sites & walked the talk. But that's history. These days, from last few weeks, infact months, it is selective in producing data even after signing in. May be there's some new tech, that sites use to block such extensions.
