WaMask is a privacy extension for WhatsApp Web that blurs messages, media, profile pictures, and contact names and can lock your screen with a password. Built for Chrome (Manifest V3), it works only on web.whatsapp.com and keeps everything local on your device. Why use WaMask? If you use WhatsApp Web at work, in a coworking space, on a shared screen, or on public transport, WaMask hides sensitive content until you choose to reveal it.
