WHAT IT DOES • Records your screen, a single window, or just one browser tab • Captures microphone audio and tab audio (mixed together if you want) • Saves as a WebM file you can download locally • Or, optionally, uploads to your own Google Drive and gives you a private link on watch.walkthrough.cc to share • Library page for everything you've recorded — rename, trim, add chapters, label, archive, delete • Built-in player for playback before you share WHERE YOUR DATA LIVES Your recordings never touch our servers. When you save locally, the file goes straight to your Downloads folder. When you share, the file is uploaded directly from your browser to YOUR Google Drive (under the drive.file scope — we can only see files this extension created, nothing else in your Drive). The share link on watch.walkthrough.cc streams from your Drive on demand. We don't host, transcode, watch, or analyze your videos. LICENSE Walkthrough is a paid product — $19 one-time at walkthrough.cc. One license covers Mac desktop, Windows desktop, and this Chrome extension; install on whichever you want. On first launch the extension asks for your license key, and that's the only friction. No account creation, no payment in-extension, no recurring charge. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • No team workspaces, viewer analytics, or comment threads • No cloud library sync between devices (your Drive holds the canonical copy if you share) • No AI summaries, transcripts, or chapters generated for you PRIVACY Anonymous crash reports are off by default. You can turn them on in Settings — they include the extension version, your OS, and stack traces when something breaks.
