Stop Video Autoplay WaitVideo is a browser extension that helps you stop videos from playing automatically. If you don't like videos suddenly starting to play, endlessly looping, or simply don't want videos playing while you're browsing, give WaitVideo a try. Site-specific settings Hide videos Hides <video> elements on the site. Thumbnail images and other content remain visible. You can click "Show video" to restore and play the video normally. Hide iframes Hides <iframe> elements on the site. Turn this setting off when you need to display them. In-page settings Site-specific settings can also be opened from the menu displayed on the page. You can turn the settings on or off, and the page content will be shown again when a setting is disabled. Global settings Available from the extension's pinned toolbar icon. Hide videos Hides videos on all sites. Stop autoplay Prevents videos from playing automatically. Lightweight WaitVideo is a simple, lightweight extension that just checks <video> and <iframe> elements. No complicated features or heavy processing. Give it a try! If a website doesn't work properly: Turn off the site-specific settings and reload the page.
