ITEM DESCRIPTION Waiex makes you wait. When you open a site on your list, Waiex intercepts the tab and holds it for an interval you choose, on a page carrying a message you wrote to yourself. Most of the time that pause is enough to remember you meant to do something else. When it isn't, you go through, and Waiex records it honestly so your statistics reflect what actually happened. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Set the wait — anything from one second to several minutes, with your own message and images on the waiting screen. • Block individual sites, or entire categories: social, news, sports, betting, streaming, adult. • See where your time went — attempts, visits, and minutes per site, charted daily, weekly, monthly counter. • Choose active hours, so rules apply only when you want them to. • Re-block on tab switch, so a site doesn't stay open all afternoon. FOR WHEN YOU DON'T TRUST YOURSELF Waiex has three difficulty profiles. On the stricter ones, settings lock: you can make your rules harder at any time, but loosening them waits out a period you set in advance. Those locks are checked against network time rather than your computer's clock, so winding the clock forward won't open them early. YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU Your blocked sites, statistics, and settings are stored on your own device and are never uploaded. Category detection for unfamiliar sites runs inside your browser — page content is never transmitted. The full privacy policy spells out exactly what does and doesn't leave your machine. Premium unlocks unlimited sites, category blocking, the strict profiles, custom themes, and the full statistics range. It's a one-time payment — no subscription.
