Messages pile up. A lead asked yesterday. A client is still waiting. WhatsApp Web shows everything in one long sidebar, but it does not tell you which chats still need YOUR reply. Closing tabs and mental notes do not scale. Support and sales teams lose deals in plain sight — not because they ignore people, but because the list never ranks "I still owe them an answer." WaFollow is a local follow-up board for WhatsApp Web. It surfaces chats that look unreplied or unread, so you can clear your queue without bulk tools or gray-hat automation. WHAT WAFOLLOW DOES WaFollow scans the visible chat list on web.whatsapp.com and builds a compact board of chats that likely need attention. Unread vs waiting labels Items are tagged Unread when WhatsApp still shows an unread badge, or Waiting when the preview looks inbound and older than your threshold even if you already opened the thread. Filters let you view All, Unread only, or Waiting only. Overdue unreplied board Chats where the last visible preview looks inbound (not common "You:" / "你:" outgoing prefixes) and older than your hour threshold appear on the board. Unread badges are treated as needing attention. Floating pill + iOS-style sheet A pill on WhatsApp Web shows a count (preferring unread). Open the sheet to review titles and previews, change the threshold, refresh, mark done, or snooze. Open chat with one click Click a row to open that chat in the normal WhatsApp Web list using a UI click only — no message is sent for you. Mark done and snooze locally Clear items you have handled, or snooze them for 24 hours. State is stored in chrome.storage on your device under a wafollow_ prefix. Optional local note Add a short per-chat note. Notes stay in local storage on this device for this MVP. Settings that matter Master on/off, overdue threshold in hours (default 24), and whether to include group chats. Preferences can sync with your Chrome profile when sync is enabled. WHAT WAFOLLOW DOES NOT DO WaFollow is a local follow-up helper, not a CRM bot and not a bulk messenger. - It does not bulk send messages - It does not auto-reply or schedule outbound blasts - It does not spoof, block, or change read receipts - It does not hide or fake online status - It does not upload your chats to a WaFollow server - It does not scrape full conversation history beyond what is already visible in the chat list UI Heuristics use on-page list text, time labels, and unread badges. They can miss chats that are not loaded in the list, or mis-parse unusual time formats. Always confirm in WhatsApp before you act. Future versions may optionally bridge notes to WaCRM. This version keeps done, snooze, and notes local. Install WaFollow 2. Open web.whatsapp.com and wait for the chat list to load 3. Click the WaFollow pill to open the follow-up board 4. Adjust the hour threshold and group setting if needed 5. Use All / Unread / Waiting filters to focus 6. Click a row to open the chat, then reply in WhatsApp as usual 7. Mark Done when finished, or Snooze 24h if you will come back later 8. Refresh after scrolling the list so newly visible chats can appear PRIVACY PROMISE Scanning uses the on-page chat list UI only. Done, snooze, notes, badge counts, and settings stay in your browser storage. No WaFollow account is required. Nothing is sent to a remote WaFollow backend for scanning.
