WA Notebook turns the chat you already send yourself into a proper notebook — pages, tags, todos, bookmarks and full-text search — without moving a single note out of WhatsApp. HOW IT WORKS Start a message with a hashtag and it becomes a note: #jobs Hiring Full Stack Developer React, Next.js, Node.js The hashtags are its pages, the first line is the title, the rest is the body. Messages that do not start with a hashtag are left alone, so your chat stays a chat. Create a note here and a real WhatsApp message is sent. Edit one and that message is edited. Delete one and it is deleted. Open WhatsApp on your phone and every note is sitting there as an ordinary message. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. The extension holds no copy of your notes — it reads the conversation, builds the notebook in memory, and forgets it when you close the tab. Reload and it rebuilds from WhatsApp. The only thing it stores is your own settings: theme, view mode, how far back to read. If you uninstall it tomorrow, every note you wrote is still in your WhatsApp chat, because that is where they always were. REQUIREMENTS WhatsApp Web, signed in, at web.whatsapp.com.
