Overview
Capture any webpage into your Vynl project with one click. Save live pages, localhost builds, and staging sites instantly.
Vynl is a design feedback and annotation tool. This extension is the companion capture tool for Vynl users. HOW IT WORKS ──────────── 1. Open any webpage you want to capture — a live site, a localhost dev build, or a staging environment 2. Click the Vynl icon in your toolbar 3. Choose a destination project in your Vynl workspace 4. Give the capture a title, pick a viewport (Desktop / Tablet / Mobile), and hit Capture 5. The page is saved instantly into your Vynl project, ready for annotations and feedback REVISION CAPTURE ──────────────── Already have a page saved in Vynl? You can add a new revision to any existing page instead of creating a new file — perfect for tracking design changes over time. AUTHENTICATION ────────────── No separate login required. The extension uses your existing Vynl session. You must be logged into Vynl in another tab for the extension to work. PRIVACY ─────── No data is collected by the extension. Captured HTML is sent directly from your browser to the Vynl API using your own authenticated session. Nothing is stored locally beyond a short-lived session token (expires in 45 seconds). A Vynl account is required to use this extension. Sign up at vynl.in.
