VTimer — Multi-Mode Timer with Voice Commands
Overview
Pomodoro timer, Tabata intervals, a stopwatch and a countdown — controlled by voice or by typing, on any page. No account needed.
VTimer is a floating timer that lives on whatever page you are working on — no popup to open, no tab to switch to. Four timers in one small widget: ⏱ TIMER — a plain countdown. Type a length or pick a preset. Recently used lengths are saved so the ones you actually use are one click away. ⏲ STOPWATCH — count up, take laps, see the split for each lap. Runs on its own, so it can keep going while a countdown runs alongside it. 🍅 POMODORO — focus / short break / long break cycles with the lengths you choose. Skip a phase, extend one, or restart it. Daily stats show how many focus sessions you finished. 🏋 TABATA — work / rest intervals for a set number of rounds, or a custom list where every round has its own work and rest length. Rest periods announce the next round out loud. VOICE AND TEXT COMMANDS Press the microphone button (or open the chat) and say or type what you want: "start 25 minutes" · "pause" · "resume" · "stop" · "add 5 minutes" "start stopwatch" · "lap" · "skip" · "restart" · "set language to Spanish" Commands are a fixed set of phrases, recognised locally — spoken replies come from your system's own voices. 46 languages for speech and replies. ALSO • Sound, spoken announcement, and a system notification when a session ends (each can be turned off). Notifications are only shown when the widget isn't already on your screen. • Countdown cues for the last five seconds. • Drag the widget to either edge of the page; tuck it away when you need the space. • Light and dark theme. • Keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+S start/pause, Ctrl+Shift+F show/hide (Cmd on Mac). • No account, no sign-up. Settings and stats stay in your browser. Timers and spoken replies work offline; voice recognition uses your browser's speech service, so it needs a connection. VTimer does not read or change the pages you visit — it only draws its own widget on top of them, inside its own isolated container.
