Overview

Tells you whether a VR game works on your headset, on Steam, PlayStation and any other page that mentions it.

Does that VR game work on your headset? You're reading an article about a VR game, or looking at its Steam page, and the same question shows up: will this run on the headset I own? VR.AR answers it without you searching for anything. You pick your headset once and, when a page mentions a game from the catalogue, a small card appears at the bottom right with the answer. HOW IT WORKS • On Steam and the PlayStation Store it works the moment you install it. • On any other page — blogs, articles, reviews, forums — it works if you grant access from the extension's button. That decision is yours. • If it doesn't detect a game, nothing appears. It stays out of the way. WHAT IT TELLS YOU • Whether it runs natively on your headset, and which store it's on. • Whether it runs but needs a PC (PC VR), including the PS VR2 adapter route. • Whether it doesn't run, and which platforms it is on. • If we haven't verified that game on your model yet, it says so instead of making up an answer. WHICH HEADSETS IT COVERS When you install it you pick your headset from a list, which includes the standalone models from Meta, PICO and PlayStation, plus the main PC headsets. HONESTY The catalogue has 91 games, verified platform by platform. It doesn't include every game that exists, which is why this matters: when we don't have the data, the extension says so rather than inventing an answer. Title matching is strict too, so "War Thunder Mobile" is never confused with "War Thunder". PRIVACY Everything happens in your browser. No accounts, no analytics, no history, no data sent to any server. The only thing stored, on your own machine, is the headset you picked. Made by VR.AR (https://vr.ar), an independent, free site about virtual reality.
