Overview

Speak the Note. Skip the Typing.

What's new in 1.0.9 You can now say Macro followed by the name of a macro you created, and the extension inserts that text into the field you are focused on. Hey still works if you are used to saying that instead. Cap That title-cases the last thing you dictated, even if you are still looking at your phone when you say it. Delete That, Scratch That, and Strike That remove the last utterance, or the last sentence if there was no pause, without clearing the whole note. If you clear on the phone and then dictate again, Chrome picks up the new text instead of getting stuck on what was there before. Editor sync is steadier around pause, resume, and spoken commands, so the field is less likely to keep old text. For this release macro matching stays exact. Say the macro name as you saved it. VoxNexa turns your phone into a dictation microphone for your computer. You speak on your phone and the text shows up in whatever field you have focused in Chrome. Email, forms, chat, clinical notes: no retyping, no copy paste, no switching windows. How it works 1. Open the VoxNexa extension and start a pairing session. 2. Scan the QR code with the VoxNexa mobile app. 3. Click into a text field in Chrome. 4. Speak on your phone. The words land at your cursor. Why a phone Phones have better microphones than most laptops, and you can hold one close while you talk. Speech recognition runs on the phone itself, so your audio stays on the device you are holding. What you get • Works in normal inputs, textareas, and rich text editors • Live partial text that settles as you finish a sentence • Pause and resume from the phone or the browser • A small floating indicator so you always know which field will receive text • Text only goes to the focused field, never a background tab • Macros you create yourself, inserted with a spoken Macro command • Cap That and Delete That for quick edits while you dictate What you need • The VoxNexa mobile app • Access to the VoxNexa Gateway We do not record, store, or keep your dictation. Audio is processed on your phone. Only the transcribed text is relayed to your browser. Details are in the privacy policy: https://cloudpk.lumieclinic.com/voxnexa/privacy
