Vox Issue Relay for Mac
Overview
Send screenshots from this browser to Vox Issue for Mac.
Vox Issue Relay is the browser half of Vox Issue for Mac. Vox Issue turns screenshots of broken UI into GitHub issues that an AI agent can fix. The Mac app renders pages with Safari's engine; this extension lets you capture the same page in your own browser and send the shot to the app on the same Mac. What you can capture Mouse — click anywhere; the area around the click is captured with a ring marking the spot, and the click still reaches the page, so you can walk through a flow step by step. Element — click a control; just that element is captured, with its CSS selector. Manual — drag a region. Full — the visible page. Scroll — the whole page, scrolled and stitched. Add Images — import screenshots you already have. Auto-capture — sites that use the Vox Issue SDK can run their visual test suite and capture every step, with Start, Pause and Stop. Every shot goes to the Mac app the moment it is taken, with the page URL, viewport size, browser and version, and the element's selector, so the filed issue says exactly where the bug is. The panel then mirrors the app's open session, including markup you add in the app. Passwords, card numbers and other sensitive fields are pixelated in the browser before the image leaves it. What it does not do It never contacts any server. The only network destination is http://127.0.0.1 on your own Mac. It holds no GitHub or AI tokens. Filing, dictation, on-device analysis and markup all happen in the Mac app. It reads nothing from pages beyond the element you clicked and the rectangles of fields to pixelate, and only on sites you allow. Requirements: Vox Issue for Mac, running on the same machine (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/vox-issue/id6807189647), and a one-time pairing with the six-digit code shown in the app's Settings.
