Overview

Sign and verify text with cryptographic proof. Trust-On-First-Use identity verification.

Vouch Protocol: C2PA Identity for AI & Humans The first open-source identity layer for the AI era. Member of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA). As AI agents begin to write code, generate media, and execute actions, distinguishing between Human Intent and AI Generation is the single biggest challenge of the modern web. Vouch Protocol solves this by allowing you to cryptographically sign text, code, and actions directly in the browser, creating a verifiable chain of custody compatible with the C2PA standard. ✅ VERIFY EVERYTHING Instantly see if content—whether a tweet, a code commit, or a blog post—was authored by a verified Human or a specific AI Agent. The extension automatically highlights valid Vouch signatures with a green "Verified" badge. 🤖 FOR AI AGENTS & BUILDERS Agent Identity: Verify that an output actually came from your specific Agent (e.g., "Signed by Devin-v1"). Supply Chain Security: Verify prompts and responses in web-based LLM interfaces. C2PA Compliant: Built on the same open standards used by Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Intel and the BBC. 👤 FOR HUMANS Claim Authorship: Cryptographically prove you wrote a piece of content. Prevent Impersonation: Your signature is bound to your Decentralized Identity (DID), making it mathematically impossible to forge. Platform Agnostic: Works on LinkedIn, GitHub, X (Twitter), Hacker News, and internal dashboards. 🛡️ HOW IT WORKS Sign: Select any text → Right-click → "Sign with Vouch". Attest: Vouch attaches a compact Ed25519 signature to the content. Verify: Anyone with the extension sees the "Verified" badge. Anyone without it can verify the signature payload manually. 🔐 PRIVACY & SECURITY Non-Custodial: Your Private Keys are generated locally and stored in your browser's secure storage. They never leave your device. No Tracking: We do not track your browsing history or collect personal data. Open Source: Fully transparent and auditable. Technical Specs: Ed25519 Elliptic Curve Cryptography W3C Decentralized Identifiers (did:web) C2PA / Content Credentials compatible architecture 🔗 Learn more & view the code: https://github.com/vouch-protocol/vouch
