Control your browser audio from one popup with Volume Maxer. VOLUME AND PLAYBACK • Adjust volume from 0% to 400% on supported audio and video players. • Set different volume levels for open tabs and remember your preferred volume for each site. • Play, pause and mute the current tab or other media tabs without switching pages. • Keep paused media in the list so you can resume it later. • Reset to 100% and clear the current site's saved volume with one click. OPTIONAL YOUTUBE AD CONTROLS Enable Auto-skip YouTube ads to mute detected ads, fast-forward them at up to 16x, and attempt a skip when YouTube offers its Skip control. It works in background tabs with the popup closed and restores the preceding sound and playback speed afterward. The feature is off by default and can be turned off at any time. You can also use the manual Skip ad button for eligible ads. PRIVACY Volume Maxer processes tab titles, website addresses and player state locally to provide its media dashboard and controls. Site volume preferences and the auto-skip setting stay in your browser. There are no analytics, tracking, or browsing-data transmissions to the developer. If you allow the extension in Incognito, private-site volume preferences are temporary. PERMISSIONS Website access allows the extension to find and control audio/video players, including embedded players. Tab information identifies media tabs in the dashboard. Navigation access locates embedded frames. Storage remembers your settings. COMPATIBILITY Requires Chrome 120 or newer. Refresh media pages after installing or updating. Some protected or cross-origin players restrict audio processing. YouTube ad controls depend on the site's player and may not work with every ad format.
