Vyns Volume Booster is a focused audio utility that lets you raise the volume of media playing in your current browser tab above the normal limit when a website, stream, or online meeting is too quiet. It is designed for everyday use on laptops and desktops where speakers can be underpowered, recordings can be low, or voice content needs clearer presence. The extension works directly on the page you are viewing and applies your selected volume level immediately, so you do not have to change system-wide volume or affect other tabs. The popup provides a straightforward volume slider with quick preset levels, so you can move from normal listening to higher amplification in seconds. To help keep boosted audio usable, the extension includes a limiter option that reduces harsh clipping and distortion at higher volume levels. It also includes sound presets intended to improve perceived clarity, especially for speech-forward content such as podcasts, tutorials, interviews, and calls, while still allowing you to return to a neutral sound instantly. A mono mode is available for users who prefer a single-channel mix or who are using a single speaker or earbud setup. Vyns Volume Booster supports per-site behavior so the extension can remember the volume and sound settings you prefer for a website and reuse them the next time you visit. This is particularly useful when you consistently need more volume on specific streaming sites, course platforms, or conferencing tools. You can also control where boosting is allowed by using site rules, so you can keep certain domains untouched while enabling boosting where you actually need it. Safety controls are included to reduce unpleasant surprises, including a maximum boost cap that you control and a fade-in option that gently ramps audio when applying a higher level. Privacy is kept simple by design. Audio processing occurs locally in your browser and settings are stored using Chrome storage so your preferences persist. The extension does not sell data and does not include third-party tracking. If you choose to enable optional site permissions for convenience features such as per-site auto-apply, those permissions are used only to apply your chosen audio settings on the sites you select.
