Read your voice messages instead of listening to them. Under every WhatsApp Web voice message you'll find “Transcribe”: press it and the text appears right under the message. The text stays there and reappears when you reopen the chat. • Search your voice messages: type a word in the extension panel and find the voice message that contains it, with its chat and date. One click and WhatsApp Web opens right on that voice message. • Private: transcription happens on your computer, in the browser. The audio is never sent anywhere. The transcription engine is downloaded only once and uses your graphics card if available, otherwise the processor. • Three on-device engines: Accurate, Compact (smaller and faster, almost as accurate) and Universal (for non-European languages). Once downloaded, they work offline too. • Or use your own Groq, AssemblyAI or OpenAI key: faster, and more robust with poor audio. • Optional automatic transcription of recent voice messages when you open a chat. • Words light up as you listen to the voice message. • Copy the text in one click, redo the transcription, hide or delete it, export everything to a text file. • Works with the voice messages you send and in groups too.
