Voice Control for Gemini

Expands Gemini with voice input, read aloud, hands-free mode and push to talk.

Voice Control for Gemini adds voice tools to gemini.google.com. Talk instead of typing, hear Gemini's replies read aloud and teach it the words you use. Everything sits in a small bar in Gemini's top bar, next to Gemini's own controls. 🎤 Talk instead of typing • Press Talk, or hold Space when you're not typing in a text field. • Your words appear in the prompt box as you speak. • Press Send to send right away, or Done to edit the text first. Esc stops and keeps the text. 🔊 Hear every reply • Play any reply with the play button next to it. • Turn on "Read replies automatically" to hear new replies as they arrive. • Choose a voice on your device or Gemini's own voice, and set the reading speed. 📖 Your personal Dictionary • Say a short phrase and get a full prompt, for example "prompt summarize this". • Fix words speech recognition keeps getting wrong, like "eye phone" → iPhone. • Turn entries on or off, and import or export your Dictionary. 🌎 70+ languages • Search every speech recognition language. • Your recent languages stay at the top. • Labels show which languages have a voice on your device and which use Gemini's voice. ⌨️ Keyboard shortcuts • Hold Space: talk, release to send • Esc: stop talking and keep the text without sending • Enter: send the current message • Ctrl + Shift + S: read the latest reply aloud, or stop • Ctrl + Shift + A: turn automatic read aloud on or off How to get started 1. Add Voice Control for Gemini to Chrome. 2. Open gemini.google.com and sign in. 3. A short tour shows you the Voice Control bar in the top bar. 4.
