Talk to ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot without touching your keyboard, and hand tasks to Copilot Cowork. Say a wake word and your assistant starts listening, right in the chat you're already working in. Say "Bye" when you're done. 🎙️ HOW IT WORKS Say "Jarvis" for ChatGPT or "Hey Copilot" for Copilot (or any word or name you choose, like "Adam" or "Friday"). Voice AI Assistant switches to your open chat and starts its voice chat, so the conversation keeps all its context. Say "Bye" to end it. At work, say "Hey Cowork" and your task: "Hey Cowork, prepare today's team meeting presentation, with a proposed agenda based on the last two weeks." It's typed into Copilot Cowork and sent, and Cowork does the work while you get on with yours. ✨ WHAT'S NEW IN 2.2 • Microsoft Copilot: talk to Copilot the same way, in the Copilot chat you have open, by voice or by typing (Copilot on the web, personal or work) • One wake word per assistant, and both listen at once: say "Jarvis" for ChatGPT and "Hey Copilot" for Copilot • Bing voice search: "Hey Bing, weather in Stockholm" (Google too: "Hey Google, …") • Copilot's answers can be read aloud in "Type it for me" mode • A fresh new look: a light, colourful design and a new icon, with Light, Dark or Match my computer in Settings Copilot Cowork: hand Cowork a task by voice with "Hey Cowork". Your words are typed into a new Cowork task (or the one you have open) and sent; Cowork reads your Teams, mail and files and builds the result, and asks before it sends anything for you • Three wake words listening at once: "Jarvis" for ChatGPT, "Hey Copilot" for Copilot, "Hey Cowork" for Cowork • The toolbar icon turns colourful while it listens 🔑 KEY FEATURES • Keeps your context: continue in the chat you have open (or a ChatGPT project), or start a new chat • Voice chat or text: a spoken back-and-forth with the assistant's own voice chat, or dictate a message and read (or hear) the answer • Any wake word for each assistant: Jarvis, Computer, Hey Copilot, or your own, with a tester in Settings • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+W to talk to your main assistant now, Alt+M to turn listening on or off (set them to Global to use from any app) • Listens quietly in the background: no pinned tab • Choose your microphone, see a live level meter, and hear gentle sounds when you're heard • Picks up fixes automatically when ChatGPT or Copilot changes its page ♿ GREAT FOR • Anyone who finds typing painful or tiring, such as wrist pain, RSI or arthritis • Multitaskers who want answers without breaking their flow • Anyone who'd rather talk than type ⚙️ GET STARTED 1. Sign in to ChatGPT, Copilot or Cowork (voice chats need an account; Cowork needs a Microsoft 365 work or school account; "Type it for me" works signed out on ChatGPT) 4. Say your wake word 🔒 PRIVACY Speech is recognized by your browser's built-in speech service, only to hear your wake words and your requests. The extension never records, stores or shares your audio or what you say. It only has access to chatgpt.com and, if you turn them on, to the Copilot and Cowork sites.
