Overview
Turn your Kindle and Google Play Books highlights into vocabulary flashcards – plus quick-add any word as you read the web.
Vocards turns your e-book highlights into vocabulary flashcards. If you read on Kindle or Google Play Books and highlight the words you want to remember, this extension imports those highlights in bulk and turns each one into a flashcard – ready to learn with spaced repetition in the Vocards app. IMPORT FROM YOUR E-BOOKS (the main event) • Kindle – open your Kindle Notebook (read.amazon.com/notebook), pick a book, and import every highlight in one click. • Google Play Books – open a book's notes panel and import all your highlights. • Keeps the details that matter – book title, author, page and chapter come across with each highlight, so every card knows where it came from. • Bulk, not one-by-one – a whole book's worth of highlights becomes cards in seconds, instead of retyping each word by hand. TURN HIGHLIGHTS INTO REAL FLASHCARDS Let AI generate the translation, example sentences and notes for each word – or keep it simple and fill in the back yourself. Sort cards into decks and choose where each word goes. ALSO: ADD WORDS FROM ANYWHERE ON THE WEB Reading outside a book? Capture words just as easily: • Highlight any text and click the quick-add bubble. • Right-click a selection and choose "Add to Vocards". • Click the toolbar icon, or press Ctrl+Shift+V (Cmd+Shift+V on Mac). LEARN WITH SPACED REPETITION Everything you capture syncs to the Vocards app (web, iOS and Android), where session-based learning and spaced repetition help the words actually stick. 40+ target languages supported; interface available in 11 languages. Sign in with your free Vocards account to get started.
