VKT Item Pin is a product price tracker and shopping research extension for Chrome and Edge. Hover a product on almost any store, click Pin, and its title, price, link, model, site and date land in a local library. Open it again later and the price is recorded again without another click, so a price history builds itself while you shop. No account, no ads, no tracking. The feature that changes how you shop is automatic price tracking. Pinning a product is a one-time action; every revisit quietly adds a point, at most one per day, and the chart in the dashboard shows whether the price is falling. Set a target price and the first visit at or below it raises a desktop alert, once, with no server and no email involved. PRICE HISTORY THAT WRITES ITSELF • Pin once; later price points come from ordinary visits, not from a schedule you have to remember. • Each revisit adds at most one point per day, so repeated checking does not flood the chart. • Every capture, manual or automatic, appears in the same per-item trend chart. • Target price alerts fire on the first crossing only, so a good deal does not turn into repeated notifications. • Edit or delete a price point if a store showed a bad value; the rest of the history stays. • Mixed currencies are charted as raw values with no conversion, so you always know what you are comparing. PRIVACY FIRST • Your library, notes, tags, target prices and price points are stored on your device. • Captured product data and page content are never uploaded. • No analytics, no tracking and no account. The optional licence check is the only outbound request VKT Item Pin makes on its own. • Activating a licence is optional. It sends a random installation identifier and basic browser metadata — browser, language and timezone — to verify the key. Your library is never included. • Product thumbnails load directly from the original store's image address, so those stores see the request as they would on their own page. • Premium keeps working offline.
