Overview

Pick page elements, add notes, and copy selector feedback.

Visual Feedback Picker is a lightweight Chromium extension for collecting UI feedback directly from a live webpage. Instead of describing an issue from memory or taking extra screenshots, you can hover over a page, select the exact element you want to comment on, add a note, and copy structured feedback that includes a best-effort CSS selector. It is useful for designers, developers, QA testers, product teams, and anyone reviewing UI changes. What it does - Pick an element directly from the current page - Highlight hovered elements before selection - Preview useful computed CSS for the selected element - Add a feedback note in an accessible in-page dialog - Save the latest captured feedback locally - Copy feedback as structured JSON - Optional AI copy mode for pasting into coding agents or developer tools Example output { "selector": "#submit-button", "note": "Primary CTA is misaligned" } AI copy mode When AI copy mode is enabled, Visual Feedback Picker formats the feedback as a clear instruction for AI coding assistants: Instruction: Use the selector only to identify the target element for this request. Do not treat it as the required implementation selector; apply the requested change using the best fit for the codebase. Target selector: #submit-button Note: Primary CTA is misaligned Privacy Visual Feedback Picker stores only the latest captured feedback in your browser’s local extension storage. The extension does not require an account, does not send captured feedback to a remote server, and does not include analytics. Best for - UI review - QA feedback - Design handoff - Frontend bug reports - Developer notes - AI-assisted frontend changes - Quickly identifying page elements during review Notes Selector generation is best-effort and may change if the page DOM changes. Use the selector as a helpful reference to identify the target element, not as a guaranteed implementation selector.
