Overview

View Microsoft Visio (.vsdx) files directly in Chrome using libvisio-ng

Visio Viewer is a free, open-source Chrome extension that lets you view Microsoft Visio files (.vsdx and .vsd) directly in your browser. No Visio installation or cloud service required — everything runs locally in your browser. Features: • SVG rendering with full shape, connector, and text support • Zoom (scroll wheel + buttons), pan (drag), and zoom-to-fit • Multi-page navigation with page names • Light and dark theme (follows system preference) • Open files via drag & drop, file picker, or URL • Automatic interception of .vsdx links and downloads • Keyboard shortcuts (arrows for pages, +/- for zoom, 0 for fit) • Fully offline — all processing happens locally, no data leaves your browser Powered by libvisio-ng, a pure-Python Visio parser running via Pyodide (Python in WebAssembly).
