VisaCheck for Linkedin

Injects H-1B sponsorship history pills into LinkedIn job postings.

Stop wasting time applying to jobs that won't sponsor your visa. VisaCheck for LinkedIn automatically scans job postings and shows you the visa sponsorship status right inside the LinkedIn interface, leaving no room for clicking away or guesswork. HOW IT WORKS When you open a job posting on LinkedIn, VisaCheck reads the job description and instantly displays a color-coded badge next to the job details: ✓ Sponsors Visa — The posting explicitly says sponsorship is available. ✕ Won't Sponsor — The posting says sponsorship is not offered for this role. ⚠ Likely Sponsor — No mention of sponsorship. You should verify directly with the recruiter. For roles where sponsorship isn't mentioned, VisaCheck also checks whether the company has sponsored H-1B visas in the past using public USCIS data, and shows an additional badge: • Past H-1B Sponsor — This company has a record of sponsoring H-1B visas. • No H-1B Record — No public sponsorship history found for this company. FEATURES • Instant detection : Badges appear automatically when you view a job posting. No buttons to click. • Works everywhere on LinkedIn Jobs : Direct job pages, search results with side panels, saved jobs, and job collections. • H-1B history database : Cross-references 427000++ known H-1B sponsoring companies from public USCIS employer data. • Lightweight and private : Runs entirely in your browser. No data is collected, no data is sent anywhere, and no account is required. • Clean design : Badges match LinkedIn's native interface and include hover tooltips that explain each status. WHO IS THIS FOR • International students and professionals in the US job market on F-1, H-1B, L-1, or other work visas • Anyone who needs employer-sponsored work authorization • Job seekers who want to filter out roles that won't sponsor before investing time in applications PRIVACY VisaCheck runs 100% locally in your browser. It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It does not track your browsing. It has no servers, no analytics, and no accounts. The extension only activates on LinkedIn job pages and reads the visible job description text to classify sponsorship status. LinkedIn updates their layout often, which can occasionally break the extension on certain pages. If you don't see the pills showing up, try a hard refresh first: Mac: Command + Shift + R Windows / Chromebook: Control + Shift + R (or Control + F5) That fixes it most of the time. If it still doesn't work, email me and I'll look into it. Please include the URL of the LinkedIn page where it broke so I can reproduce it faster.
