VirusTotal Lookup lets you search IP addresses, domains, URLs, and file hashes directly from your browser's right-click menu or by clicking the toolbar icon, making it easy to verify suspicious links, downloads, and files during security research or incident response. Features: - Right-Click Lookup: Highlight text or right-click a link, then choose "Search on VirusTotal" to open the matching report in a new tab. - Automatic Indicator Detection: Recognizes IP addresses, domains, URLs, and file hashes (MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256) and routes each to the correct VirusTotal report page. - Smart Fallback Search: Anything that doesn't match a known indicator type is sent to a VirusTotal search instead of guessing, so you still get useful results. - Google Redirect Resolution: Right-clicking a Google search result link resolves to the real destination URL before searching, not the Google redirect wrapper. - Direct Download Detection: Recognizes direct file download links (.exe, .zip, .apk, .js, .ps1, and more) and checks them accurately on VirusTotal. - One-Click Current Tab Scan: Click the toolbar icon to send the page you're currently on straight to VirusTotal.
