Virtual SE Assistant is your real-time co-pilot for technical sales calls. It listens to the conversation, spots product questions the moment they are asked, and instantly puts an accurate, documentation-backed answer on your screen — and can read it aloud to you. No more "let me get back to you on that." WHAT IT DOES • Listens during your call — through your microphone, or through shared computer audio so it can hear the other side of the call even when you wear headphones. • Detects technical questions automatically — you don't have to type anything mid-call. • Answers on screen in seconds — a concise "Short answer" up front, full details below, with source links to official documentation (Recast Docs, Liquit Docs, Microsoft Learn). • Reads answers aloud — natural text-to-speech, sentence by sentence, as the answer streams in. • Copies each answer to your clipboard automatically, ready to paste into the meeting chat. • Ask about highlighted text — select any text on the page you're discussing and it goes straight to the assistant. • Typed chat — ask follow-up questions in the panel any time, with full conversation history synced to your workspace. • Pop-out mini window — keep answers floating over your meeting in a compact always-on-top view (Document Picture-in-Picture). BUILT FOR LIVE CALLS • Runs in the Chrome side panel, so it keeps working while you switch tabs, share your screen, and drive the demo. • Listening never starts on its own — you explicitly turn it on, and the browser shows the standard microphone / screen-share indicators while it's active. • Two listening modes: "My voice only" (echo-cancelled microphone) or "Both sides of the call" (microphone + shared computer audio). • Smart speech handling: joins fragmented phrases, fixes common transcription slips (e.g. "in tune" → Intune, "liquid" → Liquit), ignores its own voice, and skips duplicates. PRIVACY BY DESIGN • Computer-audio transcription happens locally in your browser using an on-device Whisper model . That audio never leaves your machine — only the resulting text of detected questions is sent to our service to generate an answer. • No ads, no trackers, no third-party analytics. The extension talks exclusively to our own backend. • Conversation history lives in your workspace account, not on the device. Disconnect any time from Settings — your web session stays untouched.
