What Virgil can do: • Enter search terms into any search field • Click links, buttons, and page elements • Fill out and submit forms • Open, switch, and close tabs • Insert files into upload fields • Summarise or extract content from the current page How it works: Virgil uses the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) API to perform reliable, non-pixel-based click and keyboard interactions. The page structure (visible text, interactive elements) of the active tab is sent, together with your task, to the publisher's server. A third-party AI model then determines the next action, which Virgil executes in the tab. Important notes: • Chrome will display a banner "[Extension] is debugging this browser" while Virgil is executing a task. This is a Chrome security feature and expected behaviour. • Content of the page on which you use Virgil is transmitted to an external server for AI processing. Passwords and browser-saved credentials are not transmitted. • Virgil operates within your already-logged-in browser session — no separate login to websites is required.
