Vinlid checks any VIN without interrupting your car search. As you browse listings on any website, Vinlid automatically finds 17-character VIN codes on the page and marks each one with a small badge. Click a badge and a panel slides in with the full vehicle history report from vinlid.com — mileage, accident records, technical condition, recalls, inspection photos and more — right next to the listing you're reading. No copying, no new tabs, no losing your place. HOW IT WORKS Vinlid recognises VINs using the ISO 3779 format (17 characters, letters and digits, excluding I/O/Q). When you open a report, the VIN is sent to vinlid.com to retrieve that vehicle's history, which is displayed inside the panel. Vinlid does not collect your browsing history, does not track the pages you visit, and shows no ads.
