VidiRelay: AI Video Transcription

Transcribe YouTube and public video links with VidiRelay.

VidiRelay is a simple Chrome extension for turning public video links into editable transcripts. Start from the YouTube video or Shorts page you are watching, or paste a public link in the extension popup. The transcript continues in your VidiRelay workspace, where you can review timestamps, search the text, download subtitles, share a read-only result, translate, and create new content from the finished transcript. What you can do - Start a transcript from a public YouTube video or Shorts page. - Paste public YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or other supported video links. - Use the right-click menu when the in-page button is not available. - Return to recent transcript jobs and open the full workspace. - Edit, search, share, download, translate, and reuse completed transcripts. Privacy and account use You start each transcription by clicking the extension action or submitting a link. VidiRelay processes public video links that you are allowed to use. The extension does not bypass login gates, private posts, removed media, regional restrictions, or platform protections. Google sign-in is completed through VidiRelay; the extension does not store your Google password and keeps only a short-lived VidiRelay session. Supported sources YouTube videos and Shorts have an in-page shortcut when the page makes the source available. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other public video links can be submitted through the popup or the right-click menu. Availability can vary by source, region, login state, and platform changes.
